David has been painting for 50 nearly 50 years, principally landscapes and still life and more recently portraits. After a varied career, David studied with Robert Lenkiewicz for 18 months here in Plymouth. He has worked in various mediums over the years but oils are a particular favourite.

David's work is often built around themes, seeing something unexpected will set him on a path which produces six or seven pictures on variations of the same theme.
