David is a Spanish digital artist working within the Visual Effects and Animation industry in the UK. He has worked on many well-known blockbuster films such as "Sherlock Holmes", Marvel universe movies "Iron Man II" and "Avengers: The Age of Ultron", the Academy Award winner "Interstellar" and "Solo: A Star Wars Movie", to name but a few.

 

His passion for painting began to slowly develop during his twenties, but it wasn’t until aged 29 that he picked up his first brush and began to paint. Since then, traditional painting has become his creative media of choice. He took private tuition at Academia Taller Del Prado during his time living in the centre of Madrid, and later received a Certificate in Oil Painting from The Art Academy whilst working in London.

 

He is currently working on a series of gouache and oil paintings exploring the interaction between light, water and the rugged Devon coastline.
